_ Thank
you to
everyone who has supported and endorsed the SGGA for what it stands
for. You have made the SGGA what it is today and will be tomorrow!
Always held the last Saturday of July, and moving from state to state, the SGGA is about people gathering to talk and exchange ideas about sugar gliders. The MAIN focus of the SGGA is, and always will be, education and community unification. To see, experience hands-on, and learn how different people do things... to discuss different views and techniques... and to meet other sugar glider enthusiasts face to face. This experience can be invaluable to you, the sugar glider owner.
We watch MAGIC happen and sometimes we create our own. New friendships are forged and old ones renewed... his will always be a huge part of the SGGA. Anything can happen at an SGGA... there may be tears, there will surely be lots of laughs, smiles and heart warming stories, and there may be an adventure or two to be had along the way as well.
The SGGA is what you want it to be; it is what you make of it. You will get out of it exactly what you want and then some. Best of all, there should be very few questions regarding sugar gliders and their care left unanswered in your head when you leave.

_ The
actual
conference
will
start
the
morning
of
Saturday, July 27th, 2013. There
are
many
things
that are
planned for the conference, and other surprises that people always have
up their sleeves. Please feel free to view the preliminary itinerary
page for additional information about the conference. This itinerary is
subject to change and is just a general guideline for what you may
expect this year.
The registration fee you pay will include admission to the conference and the vending areas, regardless if you plan on attending them or not. You will also receive a goody bag. Lunch is NOT being provided this year.
Info regarding the annual Friday Night Welcoming Party, including food, drink, entertainment, and games is COMING SOON!! The party will b hosted this year by SUGAR GLIDER NEIGHBORHOOD!! :-)
Many people will arrive at the SGGA a day or two before the actual conference just to meet up with old friends or make new ones. Some will want to tour around the area and visit some of the local attractions, which you can see more about on the attractions page. Some attendees will also stay a day or so later just to visit some more, rest before heading home, or add to the conference attendance by creating their own, family vacation.

_ Sugar
Gliders
are
welcome at the event, (please note that the hotel DOES charge a pet fee which any attendees bringing gliders or other pets WILL be required to pay). BML Mix and HPW Complete™ will be provided. You
will
need
to
bring everything else that you may need for the care
and feeding of your babies. Please plan to place a blanket or other
material under your travel cage to protect the surfaces under the
cage... and cage covers to protect surfaces around the cage are
encouraged, as well.
Please think of your first time at the conference as an opportunity to meet and speak with as many people as you can. Take every opportunity to learn something new from everyone you meet. There are many people that have attended for many, many years and they may seem more comfortable and relaxed. In no time at all, these people will make you feel right at home. Give everyone a chance - you will find the real people behind the names, and they are not always who or what you may think they are... in fact, some may really surprise you. We very much look forward to your attendance... see you soon!
